Spherical- 05-18-2006
We'll create a character named Joe. We won't be using a last name, since Joe, oddly enough, never actually knew it.

Name: Joe (duh)
Gender: Male (yeah, Joe would be a kinda funny name for a woman)
Race: Human (we'll make Joe an average Joe. Whoops, puns.)
Age: 24 (not a too shabby age. Seriously, you can put anything in here, but be aware that being too young (less than, say, 15) or too old (say 55) will hinder your character in numerous ways)

Height: 194 cm (average, yay. Try not to make extremes for either humans or mutants. We don't really want 4 meters tall mutants barging (or trying to) in through the main bar doors)
Appereance: From the first impression one might get, Joe is a farmer. Simple shoes, pants and shirt, all slightly covered in dust and dirt, with patched holes here and there. His face doesn't bear any scars, which goes along with his age just fine. There are two tattoos on both of his fairly hairy arms. Overall, he doesn't look to be too muscular or ready to fight. No, Joe is more of a thinker - his brown eyes show sparks of ideas. (eeeek, what a crappy description, but I've had to put in something just for an example. Go crazy.)

Group/Tribe: None (for now, Joe is a freelancer)
Mutations: Most of Joe's hair has gone because of radiation, leaving him bald. (remember, humans have MILD mutations - if you can call hair falling out mutation!)

Weapons and Gadgets: A rusty military knife and a Magnum pistol.
Strengths: Joe's strength is not his brawn, but his ability to think clearly. He usually finds details in problems and has a larger picture when most people do not.
Weaknesses: He's not particularly a fighter and will usually cower away from a potential fight.
Fears: He fears most of the wastelands' creatures, but what really terrifies him are the mutated man-eating plants. He will practically run away screaming if he spots one.
Profession(s): Joe is too young to have studied before the war and has thus learned life by himself - mostly in the wastelands. He considers himself as a "naturalist", knowing the plantlife in the barren world.

History: Joe's history would be here, if I wasn't so lazy. But I want to emphasize again - No three liners, please!

Spread 35 points over categories that your character is good in (you can have a category have zero points, but that means a severe flaw):
Strength: 3 (obviously, our Joe isn't too muscular and doesn't excercise)
Intelligence: 10 (yup, a smart chap)
Endurance: 5 (again - not a fighter so he can't endure that much)
Tech skills: 3 (he's been taking apart and putting together his granddad's old radio for 10 years. Weirdo.)
Melee skills: 4 (Joe doesn't like to fight so naturally he's not adept in fighting)
Projectile weapons skills: 7 (psssh, he'll shoot his foot before he hits the target)
Survivability: 3 (while having knowledge of the wastelands' plants, he doesn't travel much - and alone at that - so he's not your best futuristic Robinson)
